WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS

Pain and tension aren't ever without a story.

Sometimes that story begins with an injury, long hours at a desk or repetitive movement. Other times it develops gradually through stress, poor sleep or simply carrying too much for too long.

Every person's experience is different.

The articles below are designed to help you better understand what may be happening, what sports massage or Body Release may be able to help with, and what you can expect if you decide to book an appointment.

They are educational resources rather than diagnoses, but my hope is that they help you feel a little more informed and a little less overwhelmed.

My approach.

Every article reflects the same approach I use in clinic.

I don't believe in chasing symptoms alone.

Whether we're working with muscular pain, movement restrictions or the effects of prolonged stress, the goal is to understand how your body has adapted, what may be contributing to the problem and how we can help you move forwards.

Sometimes that involves sports massage. Sometimes it involves Body Release. Often it's a combination of understanding, treatment and practical advice that creates lasting change.
